The standard cooling system handles temperatures up to 122° Fahrenheit and comes equipped with coolant heaters for reliable starts in temperatures to -40° Fahrenheit. Count on reliable power and fast response to changing loads from the rugged 3.3 liter 4-cycle diesel engine.

The C30D6 30 kW Diesel Generator is CARB 2024 compliant, UL-2200 listed, and meets U.S. EPA SI Stationary Emission Regulation 40 CFR, Part 60.

A flexible exercise mode fits the exercise schedule to meet the unique preferences of each customer by controlling the time, duration, and frequency to reduce noise, emissions, and fuel use.

Cummins added PowerCommand 1.1 electronic control for complete integration of the generator system. The system features automatic remote starting and stopping, precise frequency and voltage regulation, alarm and status displays, and auto shutdown after detecting faults. Cummins C30D6 30 kW diesel generator sets are NFPA110 Level 1 compliant.

PowerCommand also implements industry-leading self diagnostic capability. Critical generator component design allows completion of service and maintenance in the shortest time possible.

Cummins 30kW Diesel Generator Engine and Alternator

The QSB3.3 Engine is a 3.3 liter inline Cummins diesel engine designed for reliable power and exceptional response to changing load conditions. It comes equipped with a 40-amp battery charging alternator. Rated at 1800 RPM, the engine uses a spin-on oil filter with pressure relief valve.

Cummins’ brushless 4-pole revolving field alternator is drip proof with a 2/3 pitch rotor for a no-load to full-load waveform distortion of less than 5% and less than 3% for any single harmonic. A direct drive centrifugal blower cools the alternator.
